Should you get the Nutribullet PRO 900 watts series Blender?

Nobody wants to eat more vegetables...

At least for me and my family, that is.

Just the mere site of "greens" in their plates makes them lose their appetite.

But as a loving parent and health-conscious person, what should I do?

Nutribullet PRO 900 watts

Review by Ryan Cruz

Fortunately, I've discovered "juicing and green smoothies".

So if you can't eat them, drink them. I've shared several delicious green smoothie recipes here if you want to jump right in.

You're probably convinced already that you should be drinking more "greens" to help your body get more valuable vitamins and nutrients.

And now you're on a quest for that "perfect blender". Unfortunately, there are "no answers that will be perfect for all".

We have different situations and as such, you'll probably require a different solution for your problem. I'm here to help if you've been considering the Nutribullet PRO 900 watts deluxe version.

Just in case you're not familiar with the Nutribullet brands, they are the ones that popularized the "personal countertop blenders" with their release of the Magic Bullet blender (yeah from those infomercials).

But this review is not an informercial.

It's an unbiased review of the PRO version (900 watts). My goal here is simple: To help you decide whether this product is for you or not.

So let's get right to it...

What is the Nutribullet PRO 900 watts series (deluxe)?

It's the big brother of the Nutribullet 600w (the Original Nutribullet - and here's a complete article and review about it).

Why even bother with a Nutribullet anyway if you already have a blender.

It's because you're probably not using that blender (even if it's a Vitamix/Blendtec) because it's just difficult to use and clean.

Cleaning a blender will usually take you between 5-15 minutes tops.

But the Nutribullet appliances aren't like that. It's quick, easy to clean and does the job well.

Difference between the 600 watts vs the 900 watts model?

The most obvious is the motor size. The higher wattage (900 watts) is more powerful. That means it is more durable and can create more "finer" smoothies.

Of course, it will cost more electricity to use. But fortunately, you'll only use the Nutribullet appliances in short cycles (usually less than a minute).

Well, aside from the bigger motor (the 900 watts) the Nutribullet PRO 900 has bigger cups as well (check out some of the best deals on the Nutribullet 900 on Amazon).

It also has a resealable lid that's perfect when you're on the go or mobile as you can hold the cup on one hand while drinking.

Nutribullet PRO compared with the Magic Bullet and Nutribullet

You really can't compare the lower end (lower wattage) blenders with this PRO version. I'm referring to the Magic Bullet, which is only 250 watts and the Nutribullet original which is 600 watts.

But there's a blender in the market that can be comparable to this PRO version (it might even be better - so let's find that out below)...

Nutribullet PRO versus the Nutri Ninja Auto IQ (BL450/455/456/482) models

They may sound, look the same, and might even have the same motor wattage (900 watts) but they are not.

The Nutri Ninja PRO and Auto IQ blenders have been shown to crush ice better than the Nutribullet PRO. Just watch the video below for a quick comparison.

It looks like that the Nutri Ninja Auto IQ was able to crush ice properly.

Price Comparison between different models

The cheapest among the Nutribullet family is the smallest blender (250 watts), the Magic Bullet.

The Nutribullet 600 costs around $50-80 while the Nutribullet PRO version costs around $75 - $120.

But if you pick the Nutri Ninja machine, you'll probably be paying way less (about $30-$40 cheaper). And the Nutri Ninja machines can crush ice much better than the PRO version.

Want to splurge? The most expensive blenders would be the high-end professional blenders from Vitamix and Blendtec

If you have the budget, I would recommend that you try the Vitamix or the Blendtec blenders because they can be used to make soup as well.
