What is the Magic Bullet 17 piece set?

This is the very first personal countertop blender that I've ever used. A lot of people have bought this versatile blender because it contains almost everything that you need to enjoy delicious green smoothies and healthy drinks.

It's actually one of those blender models with tons of parts and accessories. 17 pieces to be exact.

And you'll love the price of this blender (here's the best deals online).

The Magic Bullet vs the Nutribullet

First, the Magic Bullet is not the same as the Nutribullet. Although they have been made by the same company, they are not the same.

It’s because the NEWER Nutribullet power base has the brand and logo, Magic Bullet on the front side of the power base.

Nevertheless, the Nutribullet is a much bigger model/upgrade for the Magic Bullet. Of course, the Nutribullet costs twice as much as the Magic Bullet.

Both have 1 year manufacturer, but if you get it on Amazon you might be able to get a longer warranty protection.

Since the Nutribullet has a larger motor than the Magic bullet, the nutribullet will yield smoother drinks (more powerful blends).

The most recent model of the Nutribullet (RX 1700) it can even create hot soups because of it’s high speed operation.

It seems that with a little bit of money, the Nutribullet is the perfect way to go than the Magic bullet?

Well, that depends.

It will depend on how you’d like to use it.

If you’re planning to create more batches of drinks (for you and your family), you’ll need to use the Nutribullet because it can create bigger batches.

And you might have guessed it, if you are just going to be creating smoothie drinks for personal consumption, and you’re on a tight budget, the Magic bullet is no-brainer.

Most people had the Magic bullet for years, and they’ve never replaced it unless the motor “dies”.

Why you'll love the Magic Bullet?

"Small but terrible".

That's what I would call this machine. It packs 250 watts of power, that provide enough torque to chop, minch, blend, grind, mix, mince, or whip your favorite fruits, vegetables, nuts or seeds.

It is handy and super versatile enough to make your delicious green smoothies.

They are very personalized.

It’s easy to bring and store. If you’re on the gym or in the office, you can bring these machines, make your own drinks and enjoy a healthy sip in less than a few minutes.

The size is perfect for those one-time drinks/trips.

It also makes it a lot easier to clean my Magic Bullet stuff. Just wash, rinse and dry. That’s it.

I can’t stress simplicity enough.

It’s true that there are bigger brands and equipments (more expensive as well) that can create smoother “smoothies” and that could “crush ice” easily…

But those equipments are worth 10X the price of the Magic bullet (maybe more). If you have the extra cash, then definitely go with the more expensive blenders (they have longer warranty – 7-8 years).

If you’re just starting out and if you’re just looking for something to start using without spending a lot on equipment, then the Magic Bullet is worth to try.

What are the cons or disadvantages of the Magic Bullet?

While I’m loving the Magic bullet when creating smoothies and preparing food for my family, it’s great for blending soft foods, chick-peas, sauces, cream, and marinades.

But it’s not great for harder foods and vegetables.

Of course crushing ice is not possible.

But my biggest WINS and success with the Magic Bullet is that it’s easy to use, it’s compact, affordable and does the job well (as long as it’s not ICE and hard foods).

What can you do with the Magic Bullet appliances?

Some people are just loving the recipes created from the Magic Bullet. I love to use “Kale” which can include some stem, the broccoli flower and stems, celery, beets, spinach, and carrots.

You can also grind coffee beans and seeds with the Magic Bullet.

There have been some people who uses it as a juicer (with the help of a nut milk bag). Instead of drinking it with the fiber intact, some people would strain the fiber from the smoothie and drink the extract.

Since you can use a nut milk bag to separate the solid particles from the liquid part of the drinks you’ve made, you can also use the Magic bullet to create plant-based nut milks.

Plant-based nut milks like almond milk are healthy alternatives to dairy milk.

They can also be used as a substitute for water when making your “green smoothies” and drinks.
