Nutribullet Recipes for Losing Weight

Nutribullet Recipes to Help You Lose Weight | Download Weight Loss Plan

A lot of people have been thanking me for my unbiased and honest review of the Nutribullet machines (PRO 900, RX 1700, and the new Nutribullet balance).

So for today's article, I'd like to share my journey on losing weight with the Nutribullet.

If you have a different blender, that's fine. Any powerful personal countertop blender like the Nutri Ninja will do.

Here's what I've experienced before. And one of my BIG reasons for drinking “green smoothies”.

I wanted to lose weight. But I also knew that it was hard and difficult.

I know, because I've spent many years on different diets, programs, gym memberships, etc. but I had no long term results.

I would lose some weight, but after awhile, I'd gain it all back and oftentimes it is with interest (I've gained more weight).

If you're struggling with the same dilemma, you're in the right place.

But first, it's important to know and understand that there are no “Magic Bullets” or one time thing when it comes to weight loss. It is a journey.

Drinking green smoothies without watching what you eat and exercising will not get you anywhere with your weight loss goals.

It is not a One-Stop solution for all your weight loss problems.

Have the correct mindset if you want to lose weight and keep it off for good

Instead of the scarcity mentality when “dieting” or limiting what you can eat, change it to a positive mindset and create an abundant thinking with this motivational quote:

Tell this to yourself over and over, until it sinks in: I'm taking action and responsibility.

I know that I have what it takes to succeed in losing weight and that I will work with my healthcare provider, experts and guides in taking a positive approach to wellness.

If you have a “magic pill” mentality, then unfortunately this is NOT for you.

How I lose weight with the Nutribullet

Here's my simple answer:

The Nutribullet extractor machine made it very simple for me to PUT the healthiest and best foods in my body (fruits, veggies, superfoods and water)

Personally, one of the biggest problems that I have when it comes to eating healthy is not having enough time to make healthy meals.

It's always very convenient for me to go to a drive thru and grab my breakfast on the way to work. Of course, it's not the healthiest breakfast.

But with the Nutribullet, I can simply grab my frozen fruits and fresh veggies, wash them and put them in my tall mug. I add water, some seeds, and voila it's ready to be blended.

Once I've attached it to the power base, I'll twist it and after a few seconds, I have a delicious green smoothie drink that's now my breakfast for the day.

All done in less than 5 mins, 2:45 mins to be exact.

My 7 day plan on losing weight

  • Nutribullet (Author)
  • English (Publication Language)

This product was presentation was made with AAWP plugin.

The Nutribullet manual recommends 50% fruits and 50% vegetables.

But for my weight loss strategy, I've used 70-80% veggies (dark, green leafy veggies like kale, spinach, brocolli, chards) and about 20-30% fruits.

I’m not using a lot of fruits in my drinks because they are still sugar(natural sugar) which can cause huge spikes of sugar rush in my body.

I swapped my entire breakfast meals with NutriBlasts. *If you don’t replace your meals (breakfast or lunch) with Nutriblasts, you’ll be adding more calories into your body, and that’s a big no.

*Disclaimer: Before changing your diet regimen, please always consult with your healthcare provider.

TIP: If you want to lose weight while juicing or using the NutriBullet, use more veggies instead of fruits.

My Nutriblast recipe in the morning

Every morning I drink water infused with lemon (Here's the benefits of lemon water). Then I'll prepare my Nutriblast usually with this recipe.

*After 3 days of doing this, I've already feel a lot lighter. I have more energy and I've definitely lost a few inches already.

On the first or second day of detoxing(drinking only fruits and veggies), I’ve notice that I had headaches, mood swings and cravings.

Disclaimer:Before doing any detox or weight loss plan, contact your healthcare provider

But when I woke up on the 3rd day, I’ve feel a lot better. I’ve continued doing this for the next 7 days…

A few things that I did during this period was to cut out a lot of processed foods.

  • No Soda
  • No Bacon
  • No Processed Meat
  • Cut down on Chicken, Beef, and Pork
  • No ice-cream, cakes and any of the sweet stuff packed with calories

I’ve also steamed my food instead of cooking it on oil (deep frying).

I’ve given up coffee and refined sugar as well.

And last but not the least…

Exercise plays an important role as well

We cannot ignore the importance of exercise and working when trying to lose weight.

This doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to go to the gym and pay expensive membership fees.

But rather have the motivation and action to burn those excess calories through exercise.

As a Quick Summary and Final Recap for an easy to follow weight loss plan

  1. Replace meals (preferably breakfast and lunch) with a Nutriblast (smoothies)
  2. Add more vegetable than fruits
  3. Cut down on meat and processed foods, especially refined sugar
  4. Drink warm lemon water first to help kickstart your system
  5. Don’t forget to exercise as it plays a vital role in losing weight and raising your energy levels. You can start with less strenuous exercises then ramp up your activities once you get your groove going.
  6. Enjoy! – If you’re not enjoying your weight loss plan, you won’t stick with it.

  • Toni says:

Hi do u mean a cored apple or pear? N are u grinding flaxseeds down to prowder then putting them in, or do u chuck them in whole. I got brown flaxseeds will that work
    🙂 thanks In advance

    • Ryan says:

      Hi Toni,
      Welcome to the site!
Apple or Pear would do. Cored means, the seeds are removed. I have brown flaxseeds as well and they taste and work great. No need to grind them because the Nutribullet (or any other high quality blender) will be able to do the job well.

  • Jean says:

Hi, I am wanting to start a Nutribullet weight loss and cleanse program. Can I have a nutribullet for all meals or is this too much? Are there any fruits I should avoid. I usually have banana, orange, kale, spinach, broccoli, carrot and water with ice. Yum

  • Clio says:

You say you swapped breakfast for a smoothie- did you eat normally otherwise,

  • Cleo says:

You say you swapped breakfast for a smoothie- did you eat normally otherwise, or did you eat 3 meals as smoothies? I want to loose tummy fat and I think I will substitute one or two meals a day for a smoothie, am I thinking right? 🙂

  • Yvonne says:

I love the nutribullet. For breakfast I blend, kale, banana, raw cashew, sunflower seeds, flaxseed, prunes, fresh ginger and cold water. Taste great, and the clean up is sooo easy and no where near the mess and waste of a juicing machine, not to mention smaller

  • lasha says:

I’m going to try it today for the first time! Ready for change!

  • Tara says:

Hi Ryan, thanks so much for all the fantastic info! I have the regular Nutri Bullet and I LOVE it….but I had to order the Nutri Bullet RX (? darn infomercials?) I’m starting my diet Immediately after I get it. I have a really awesome juicer and did a 30 day juice cleanse earlier this year. After the withdrawals of all the years of toxins in my body, I felt so amazing….my energy was through roof! Sadly, no weight loss. I wanted to do a full 90 days but, it was really expensive, I spent almost $80 every 3-4 days because I had to constantly juice, so I decided to try the Nutri Bullet this time. I’m clinically obese, and just found out I have diabetes. Wasn’t a big shocker, it’s a given with my weight. I’ve been fighting thyroid cancer for six years and my endocrine system is shot. So, needless to say….I have a lot of weight to loose…. but I have even more to gain health wise. I’ve done a ton of research over the past year and I know juicing has amazing health benefits. I’m determined to get this weight off, and take back my life.
