If you're searching for beginner recipes, recipes for losing weight, detox recipes or the most delicious recipes on green smoothies, you've come to the right place.

I know how hard it is to find recipes that actually tastes great, that's why we've done the research for you so that you could start enjoying delicious green drinks.

All you need to do is prepare your produce, try one of these recipes and use your favorite blender* to create your drinks.

*You need a Nutribullet extraction machine or a Ninja blender to enjoy these recipes. If you prefer the high-end blenders like the Vitamix and the Blendtec appliances you can try using them as well.

What are Nutriblasts? Can These Smoothie Recipes Become Ninja Blender Recipes?

For starters, if you've encountered the word: Nutriblasts, that's just a fancy term for “green smoothie recipes” or green drinks.

And yes, these recipes are completely compatible with your Ninja Blender and Magic Bullet appliances.

These delicious and yummy green smoothie recipes came from other Nutribullet users, and other top “green smoothie” recipes out there.

We all have different taste buds and preferences, but personally, these are the best nutribullet recipes I've ever tasted.

But here's a QUICK tip for those who are just starting out in this journey: Choose your beginning vegetables that doesn't have a strong “garden” or “bitter” taste.

By that I mean avoiding broccoli and kale as your first “vegetable” choices. Once your palate have adjusted, you might be able to try these “stronger-tasting” vegetables.

It's because if you try with these “bitter-tasting” vegetables, you might be discouraged to continue your journey because you just can't stand the taste.

What I recommend is to use vegetables that doesn't taste like you're eating grass.

Top 4 vegetables that I recommend for starters:

  • Spinach
  • Cucumber
  • Zucchini
  • Cabbage

Let's start with Spinach.

It seems that Popeye did some reading on why he's chosen spinach as his “secret” to strong health.

It is because spinach is considered a superfood. They contain antioxidants and phytochemicals that are good for our bodies.

Which is why my first and beginner recipe would always contain spinach.

The Beginner's Nutriblast recipe

This is my regular drink and it's very simple to prepare.

Yes, I drink this almost daily (while rotating greens now).

Bananas can easily mask the aftertaste of any vegetable.

Chia seeds provides protein and contains powerful antioxidants, while water can be added or suppressed to control the viscosity of your drinks.

Ever since I’ve learned how to make plant-based milks, I’ve been consuming them daily and have replaced my consumption of dairy milk with almond milks. I’m using almond milk as the liquid base instead of water for added flavor and nutrients.

Serve and enjoy this recipe!

The Detoxifying Green Smoothie Recipe

Starting out with Juicing and Blending? Then you'll want to try this detox or cleansing recipe.

You may or may have not heard of detoxing but I believe that it's all about giving your “gut” (your digestive system) enough time to rest and recuperate after spending years of eating unhealthy stuff.

Healing and “detoxification” of our bodies are simply done by our liver. What we're doing is we're just helping our liver do it's job well.

The first thing that you'll need to do is avoid processed foods, junk foods, and refined sugar at all costs.

*Medical disclaimer : Consult with your health care provide before you change your diet.

You may add ice cubes after blending. Ice can make the drinks more palatable. If you don't have ice cubes, you can try freezing the fruits and vegetables first.

If you have a powerful blender like the Nutri Ninja, it can easily crush ice while blending (read my full review).

  • 1 handful Broccoli florets
  • 1 piece banana (frozen would be great)
  • 1 tsp chia (flax seeds is an alternative)
  • 1/2 piece apple (pear can be an alternative)
  • 1 max line filtered water (plant-based milk can be an alternative)
  1. Wash all the fruits and vegetables. Broccoli florets might be too bitter for starters (because of the plant’s release of sulforophane, which gives it the “vegetable” taste”), so a great way to mask it is by adding a lot of banana and apple plus pineapple chunks.

  2. Add all ingredients to your 24-32 oz cup and fill it with water up to the max line. Blend for a few seconds, then serve immediately.

      Hi Kim,
I’ve juiced (blasted) both celery & beetroot in my nutribullet – haven’t blasted carrot yet (have only ever juiced them in a traditional ‘juicing machine’).
I have found a recipe with carrots though – can’t remember site I got it from [Big Apologies to the author]. It’s:
      Cosy Carrot Tonic:
      – 6 large carrots
      – 1 bulb fennel
      – 2 apples
      – 1/4 – 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
      – 1 lemon
      – Fill your cup with water to the max line
      Hope this answers your question.
      Cheers,
      Tania

I’d like to know if it’s OK to make a big smoothie drink and save half for the next ?or should it all be consumed the same day ?

here’s another good recipie with spinach
    3/4 spinach leaves
    1 small cup pineapple juice
    handful of nuts
    raspberries

Using a nutribullet is not juicing. It’s smoothie-ing. I think a lot of beginners get discouraged bc they don’t realize they’re not getting a juice. The texture you get with a nutribullet can be a bit thick sometimes, which is kinda off putting when your making broccoli and kale smoothies
